In today's life science research, the use of methods and tools from computational biology and bioinformatics is very common in processing and analyzing medical data. These methods and tools have transited from the auxiliary role to the main stream in life science research. The Medical Big Data Platform in Greater Bay Area Institute of Precision Medicine (Guangzhou) has been founded in August, 2021 and provides the following services for the researchers and investigators within institute, 1) the scientific computation and data storage service, 2) a variety of bioinformatics data analysis services.
Institute of Precision Medicine produces a huge amount and large spectrum of data every year, including high through-put transcriptome and genome data. Now the Medical Big Data Platform provides the analysis services for all kinds of second generation sequencing data, not only limited to single-cell sequencing data, but also tailor-made analysis pipelines for special request.
